About Me.

"I was motivated to research and develop allergy work because my Mother's major skin problems and now it's become an all absorbing, fascinating and challenging lifetime's work which can transform and enhance the quality of EVERYONE'S health! An Allergy Diet Specialist just seemed to be my vocation - much more that being a politician in London, or lecturing and designing courses for industry & colleges - my career for short time. I realised I just had to help others by developing a unique approach & convey the connection between health and diet. I began allergy work in 1980 while still a student reading history and politics and made a full time commitment and complete change of career in 1989.”

Claire has appeared on a variety of TV programmes and is a frequent guest on radio nationwide and abroad and travels extensively with her allergy consultancy including tour to America.

Claire (an ex vegetarian restaurateur – conquering allergies took over) also design tailor made health cuisine courses, gives demonstrations eg. Low fat/sugar free cookery, wholefood fare, exciting tofu, mysteries and tempeh etc.

Claire's husband J. Bryan Fretwell-Parker (a retired Shire Horse farm manager) runs the mail order department. Claire assesses individual dosages.

Claire’s own range of high allergy standard vitamins & minerals and supplements are available exclusively mail order or directly from Garstang Clinic.

Claire has been located in several places in the UK but in May 2005, after the 14 years, she sold her original northern clinic in Longridge, Lancashire and moved a few miles to Garstang, into a canal-side cottage near where she had spent her childhood with her grandparents and family and close to Bleasdale hills where her husband had grown up.

Having run allergy clinics nationwide, travelling upto 45,000 miles a year, Claire now pursues a less frenetic lifestyle since her marriage and practices part time on most Fridays and by special appointment.

Claire is opening new premises in Kington High Street soon.
